The initiative aims to provide information, guidance, counsel, direction and education to businesses on broadband connectivity options and enterprise technology applications. This web site also serves as a resource center on broadband information vital to community and residential uses.
What Is Broadband and Why Is It Important?
Simply put, broadband is high-speed Internet connectivity. It gives you exceptionally fast access to the Internet. Your computer is constantly connected, so you can conduct business or access information and entertainment instantly.
This speed and convenience alters the way people use the Internet and opens up a host of new possibilities. It also dramatically levels the playing field for rural businesses, giving them access to a huge range of new services and allowing them to cut costs, improve efficiency and offer a better service to customers.
